    Rose M. Arcidiacono

    August 29, 1922 - September 21, 2021

Rose M. Arcidiacono, age 99 of Bedford, NH passed away peacefully on September 21, 2021, at her late residence. Rose was born in Lawrence on August 29, 1922, to the late Joseph and Rose Filetti. She eventually moved to North Andover where she was the owner of the Treasure Chest gift shop and bookstore. Upon her retirement, Rose and her late husband Michael moved to Hollywood, FL where there were snowbirds for many years before taking up permanent residency there. Rose had a curious mind; she bought her first computer at the age of 90 to keep connected with family. She was a woman of deep faith. Rose loved to travel, read, follow politics, and cook for her family. In her later years she worked to maintain a strong body taking exercise and Tai Chi classes regularly. She was an excellent seamstress and was a perfectionist with any task she took on. She was a caregiver for many in her family. Rose loved going to the Feast of the 3 Saints in her hometown of Lawrence, she only ever missed attending the feast three times in her life. Rose was the devoted mother of Alfred Arcidiacono and his wife Elizabeth, and Nancy Belliveau and her husband Paul. She was the loving grandmother of Joseph Arcidiacono and Kathleen Tupker and the proud great grandmother of Robert and Colin Tupker. Rose was the dear sister of the late Nunzio Filetti and Josephine Zappala. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews and her cousins Josephine DiMauro-Demers, Rita Venturo, Lucille Gagne, Robert Filetti and several cousins in San Jose, California. Friends and guests are invited to call Monday, September 27, 2021, from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 28, 2021, at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence St. Methuen. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence. Donations in Rose’s memory may be made to VNA of Manchester and Southern New Hampshire, 1070 Holt Ave. Manchester, NH 03109 or to EWTN, 5817 Old Leeds Rd. Irondale, AL 35210.
