Methuen – Nancy G. (Buglione) DiSalvo, 89 of Methuen, passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at Nevins Nursing & Rehabilitation Centre in Methuen with her family by her side. She was the beloved wife of the late John DiSalvo, Sr. Nancy was born in Lawrence on February 28, 1928, the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Laratonda) Buglione. She attended Lawrence schools and graduated from Lawrence High School. She worked at Western Electric in North Andover for 30 years until her retirement. Nancy loved to travel with her husband. She enjoyed taking trips to the mountains, Florida, Foxwoods, and to her husband’s Army reunions, where she made many friends. Nancy had a heart of gold and was always putting others before herself. Nancy will be deeply missed by her daughter, Patricia (DeMarco) Cook of Salem, NH and her significant other, Ted Boutselis; 3 grandchildren, James Cook III, Matthew Cook, Sr., and Michael DiSalvo; 2 step children, John DiSalvo, Jr. and Grace Grant; 3 great grandchildren; her sister, Rita Chahanovich of Salem, NH; and several nieces and nephews. She is predeceased by her sister, Madeline Peretti and her brother, Anthony Buglione. Special thanks to the staff of the Nevins Nursing Home and Elder Services. Family and friends will honor and celebrate Nancy’s life by gathering for her calling hours on Friday, November 17, 2017 from 9:30 to 10:30 AM. Her Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 AM on Friday at St. Lucy Parish, 254 Merrimack Street, Methuen. Inurnment will follow at Bellevue Cemetery in Lawrence. Memorial contributions can be made to Beacon Hospice, 290 Merrimack Street, Suite 242, Lawrence, MA 01843.
