    Marlena Rosinski

    January 1, 1991 - September 28, 2021

Marlena Rosinski, age 30, of Manchester, NH, passed away suddenly on September 28, 2021. Marlena was born in Lawrence, MA, on January 1, 1991. She was a graduate of Greater Lawrence Technical School. Marlena attended both Presentation of Mary Academy and UMASS Lowell. She will be remembered as an artist extraordinaire who was very talented in many forms of art. She enjoyed writing music, poetry, short stories, playing guitar, sketching, and cooking. Most recently, Marlena started to perform stand-up comedy at various venues in Manchester. For many years, Marlena worked at Applebee’s in Manchester, where she was loved by many of their patrons. Marlena was happiest when spending time with her son Tommy, her pride and joy, her furry companions Balto and Olivia, and close friends and family. Marlena was a shining star, a beacon of inspiration in the lives of others. She made a friend of everyone she met, loved to share a laugh, make people smile, and help them to forget their troubles. Marlena gave the best hugs, such that you knew that you were loved beyond measure. She had a strong work ethic that helped her excel in all areas of her life. Auntie Marley, as she was known to the neighborhood children, loved to play guitar for them and dance together, and cook meals for them with her dear friend Niki. Marlena had a boundless kindness, generosity of heart, and strong desire to help others, that will stay with us always. Marlena was the devoted mother of Thomas Carey. She is survived by her mother Christine Rosinski, her maternal grandmother Doris Rosinski, her Aunt Karen Livingston-Taylor and her husband Richard, her cousins Kayla, Chad and Ryan Livingston, and her uncle Steven Rosinski and his husband Brent. She is also survived by her dear friend Niki Wadsworth. Marlena is predeceased by her maternal grandfather Joseph Rosinski and her uncle David Rosinski. Per the family’s request, calling hours will be private for the family only. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, October 6, 2021 at 11:00 AM at St. Monica’s Parish, 212 Lawrence St., Methuen, MA. Guests are kindly asked to report directly to church. Per the family’s request, guests are kindly asked to wear a mask or facial covering during the funeral mass. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence, MA. In lieu of flowers, donations in Marlena’s memory may be made out to: Thomas Carey Fund, and mailed to TD Bank, 305 South Broadway, Lawrence, MA, 01843. A Celebration of Life will be scheduled at a later time and posted in the Eagle Tribune and on social media.
