    James Paskevich

    October 7, 1941 - April 20, 2022

    James Paskevich a long-time resident of Methuen passed away Wednesday April 20th suddenly at Lawrence General Hospital at the age of 80 years. He was born in Boston, the son of James and Adele (Davidaitis) Paskevich of South Boston. He graduated from Boston Technical High School James was a member of Pipefitters Local 537 and was set to receive pin and commendation for 50 years of service in the trade in May of this year. He was a member of Northeast Cutlery Club and enjoyed attending their shows with his son. He was a lifetime member of the NRA and a member of the Knights of Lithuania. James was an active member, and one time director of the South Boston Lithuanian Citizens Club. He was a longtime communicant of Mary Queen of Peace Church and rarely missed a weekend mass. James will be sorely missed by his wife of 49 years, Dorothy (Blazevich) Paskevich, son Jim Paskevich and his wife Wendy (Allen) Paskevich; sisters Alice Ferrari of Jacksonville FL and Adele Paskevich of South Boston, sister in Laws Joan Blazevich, Mary Gobush and her husband William, and Brother-in-Law Joseph Blazevich and his wife Beth. James also leaves behind many nieces and nephews including those who have passed before him, William Gobush, Joseph Blazevich, and Lisa (Ferrari) Samuel. Friends and guests are invited to call on Friday, April 29, 2022 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, April 29, 2022 at 12:00 Noon at Mary Queen of Peace Church, 200 Lawrence Rd. Salem, NH 03079. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery of Methuen.
