AnnMarie Keleher, 82, longtime resident of Haverhill, passed away peacefully on September 16, 2020 at the Baker-Katz Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. She was born on February 10, 1938 to the late Mary (Maloney) Keleher in Lawrence and attended St. Mary’s High School, graduating with the Class of 1956. Believing in the value of a secondary education, AnnMarie attended Emmanuel and Merrimack Colleges, obtaining her degree in accounting. After college, she worked for several local businesses as an accountant and finished her career at Lawrence Public Schools in the payroll department. A lifelong Catholic, AnnMarie was a communicant at St. Mary’s Church in Lawrence. She enjoyed many of life’s simple pleasures; spending time with family and friends, crafts and reading. AnnMarie is survived by her sister JoAnne Shertzer and her husband Robert of Lancaster, PA. She is also survived by her nephews; Robert Shertzer and his wife Staci, also of Lancaster, PA and Joseph Maloney and his wife Mary Beth of Methuen as well as several cousins. She is predeceased by her brother, William A. Keleher of Dallas, TX. To honor AnnMarie’s wishes, all services were privately held.
