Angelina “Angie” T. (DeSimone) DuBois, age 94 of Methuen passed away peacefully on June 7, 2019 at the High Pointe Hospice House. Angie was born in Lawrence on February 3, 1925 to the late Amedeo and Maria (Marino) DeSimone. She was a graduate of Lawrence High School, Class of 1942. Angie was a former long-time employee of Raytheon, where she retired in 1987. Following her retirement, Angie volunteered at the Mary Immaculate Restorative Center. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and friends, bowling, playing cards, and bingo. Angie also enjoyed taking trips to Foxwoods and traveling with her late husband Joseph. Angie was the beloved wife of the late Joseph H. DuBois. She was the devoted mother of Anthony DuBois and his wife Rita, Marie Grover and her husband Arthur, and the late Henry DuBois and his surviving wife Margaret. Angie was the dear sister of the late America Franco, the late Mary Casale, the late Helen Viglione, the late Pasquale DeSimone, the late Paride DeSimone, and the late Gabriel DeSimone. She was the loving grandmother of Nicole Simonson and her husband David. Angie was the cherished great-grandmother of Nathan and Ryan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. Friends and guests are invited to call on Tuesday, June 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM until 7:00 PM at the Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home, 233 Lawrence St. Methuen. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2019 at 9:00 AM at St. Lucy’s Parish, 254 Merrimack St. Methuen. Interment to follow at Immaculate Conception Cemetery of Lawrence.
