Our Story
Learn our story, from the beginning and into the future.
The Kenneth H. Pollard Funeral Home was founded by Kenneth H. Pollard in 1953 and is proud to be family owned and operated for over 70 years. From the first day our services were offered and continuing today in the spirit, “Our Family Helping Your Family”, we are humbled to carry on this tradition by offering our services with a capable and caring staff in comfortable surroundings to help those in a time of need.
In 1969, the tradition continued to the next generation when Michael N. Pollard joined his father in the family business. Michael and his wife, Maureen, purchased the funeral home in 1993, perpetuating a vision that continued as a source for complete funeral information with professional comfort and guidance.
After managing the funeral home for over 10 years, Robert Chase and his wife, Sabrina, purchased the funeral home from Michael and Maureen Pollard in 2021. Rob is deeply honored to carry on the family’s legacy and commitment to serving the community. He continues to honor what Michael Pollard built, as well as what Michael’s father built before him, while also looking to embrace the future of serving the community during their time of loss.
Throughout the years, families of the Merrimack Valley and Southern New Hampshire have appreciated our efforts to help them plan a meaningful service for a loved one or friend. Available 24 hours, 7 days a week, our experienced and dedicated staff is here to assist you in determining which service is appropriate for each individual’s needs and to ensure those wishes are followed.
A funeral represents a unique opportunity to celebrate the life of a loved one or friend, their memories, values and accomplishments. We are here to help you through this most difficult time.
